You may or may not have seen the recent article in the Worthing Herald regarding our wall and fence. The council have refused us planning permission
and have asked us to reduce the height of the wall and fencing by half, as in their opinion: " It is alien to it's surroundings".

We disagree and so do many of our neighbours.  In fact, we have received nothing but positive comments and feedback from the neighbourhood to the point of
anonymous letters being posted to us in support of our plight and suggestions that we start a petition. So here it is. 

We are extremely grateful to those people who have said that we have made a positive contribution to the look of the road and area and have made
the entrance to Parklands Avenue a 100% improvement. 

We are acting in the best interest of our family, whom we want to protect from the busy main road and provide a safe place for them to go about daily life.
Where there was a hedgerow, there is now a bus stop, which provides none of the privacy enjoyed by the rest of the Goring Slip Road.
